Her mother has barely left her side. She sleeps in a chair beside the cot, holds Luna against her chest when the fear gets too big for such a small body, and whispers the same promise over and over: I am right here. Just a mom fighting beside her baby.

The family has already given everything they had. Appointments, scans, medication, the drives to the hospital, the days of work lost sitting in waiting rooms — it has drained them.
