Fighting for my life: I never thought I'd have to write this, but life throws unexpected challenges. I was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer — a relentless disease, and time is my greatest enemy.
The only hope for a cure and complete tumor removal is a highly complex surgery. Due to the severity and specificity of my case, this procedure isn't available in the public system with the urgency needed and is only performed in private hospitals.
The cost is far beyond what I and my family can afford. I'm setting pride aside to ask for help covering the surgery, hospitalization, and follow-up treatments.
