Hi, my name is Sara Almeida and I'm here asking for help for my 1-year-old son Idris. Idris was born with severe congenital heart disease — Transposition of the Great Arteries (TGA).
This means his heart formed with the main arteries switched, causing blood to circulate the wrong way. Doctors said he needs urgent surgery. Every day without treatment is a serious risk to his life.
We're seeking specialized treatment abroad, because this type of surgery isn't available to us here. Funds raised will go toward the cardiac surgery, hospitalization, medications, exams, travel, and treatment.
