Help Ollie fight his brain tumor

My name is Katherine Miller, and I'm asking for help for my dog, Ollie.

Ollie is my baby, my best friend, and the one who has been by my side for years. He has slept next to me, followed me around the house, comforted me when I cried, and given me his love in moments when I felt completely alone.

Now I'm watching him suffer, and it is destroying me.

It started with small changes. Ollie seemed tired, confused, not himself anymore. Then one day his body suddenly started shaking. He got weak, scared and disoriented, and I froze because I didn't understand what was happening. I held him in my arms while I cried, repeating his name and begging him to stay with me.

Since then he has been having seizures and stroke-like episodes. One moment he is here with me, and the next his body starts shaking uncontrollably, his eyes go blank, he can barely control his movements — and I am helpless, watching my baby suffer in front of me.

Every single time it happens, I think I'm going to lose him.

I have already spent everything I had trying to find out what was wrong. Vet visits, tests, emergency care, scans — I did everything I could, because I couldn't just stand by and watch him get worse.

The vet told me Ollie has a brain tumor and that he needs urgent treatment. This cannot wait. Every seizure puts more stress on his body and can cause more brain damage.

The vet also prescribed phenobarbital to help control the seizures, but the cost of the medication, the follow-up visits, the scans and the treatment is more than I can afford on my own.

If Ollie doesn't get the care he needs soon, the episodes could become more frequent, more violent and harder for his body to survive. He could lose even more control, get weaker, stop eating, struggle to walk — or have a seizure so severe that he never wakes up.

It hurts so much to know that after all these years of loving me unconditionally, money could be the reason I can't save him.
