Help and shelter the vulnerable is more than a headline — it's a real story unfolding in Brooklyn, NY. When Kim Lacey first reached out to our team, the need was already urgent, and the community was already showing up. This page is where that momentum lives.

120 children, widows, elderly, and disabled people in Uganda are running out of food and shelter. They need us — right now. Behind every dollar raised is a plan: rent kept current, treatments started on time, supplies stocked, volunteers coordinated, and small moments of dignity restored. Nothing here is abstract — every contribution translates into something concrete this month.

We're being deliberate about how funds are used. Roughly 60% goes directly to the people and services at the center of this campaign. Around 25% covers immediate operational costs — transportation, materials, professional support. The remaining 15% is held as a buffer for the unexpected, because there is always something unexpected.
