My name is Jeannely Meredith, and I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my baby cousin, Sofia Gwendolyn A. Indita, and her family.

Since birth, Sofia has been courageously battling congenital hydrocephalus. Last year, she underwent surgery to have a ventriculoperitoneal (VP) shunt placed to relieve the pressure caused by excess fluid in her brain.

On July 3, 2026, Sofia was admitted to the hospital after developing serious complications. Her scalp became severely damaged and infected, exposing her VP shunt. Doctors say the infected shunt must be removed and replaced urgently.

Your support will help cover VP shunt replacement surgery, hospital bills, CT scans and lab tests, medications, and follow-up recovery. Every contribution brings Sofia one step closer to healing.
